  1. About half-a-mile from our place there is a Mass Park in a place named Clondarrig. In the Penal days the Priests used to come and say Mass here. The bush is still to be seen with a path leading towards it.
    I was in this part twice. Mr McHugh, the ownder, tills the park but he does not plough the path leading to the "Mass Bush." Clondarrig is about two miles north of Portlaoighise
