  1. Karnakit is the name of a downland near my school. It is names after Ceth a great warrior in Queen Maeve's army.
    Maeve was queen of Connaght at that time. She had a great many wars with Ulster over very little such as the '"Táin Bó Cualinge"
    Will When Ceth was killed he was buried with great pride. A cairn was raised over him. He is buried in Karnakit and the cairn is to be seen to this day. He is also said to buried with his head down ward.
