    Saint Patrick is the Patron Saint of Ireland and all over Ireland as well as in this district his feastday is celebrated.
    Everyone wears the shamrock and children wear harps and green ribbons too.
    For weeks and days before hand the Post Office is busy posting boxes of shamrock to absent friends in England, America, and other far off countries.
