  1. When John Riordan Tincoora and Patrick Riordan Killavoy were throwing down one of the walls of a ruined house belonging to a Murray Family in Coolroebeg next townland to Killavoy, Banteer, they found a "Stole" which they gave to a father Dan O'Keeffe who was then a curate in Banteer, Co. Cork.
When the Murray lived in this house they once invited some friends to a party. The whiskey glasses were placed on the table and Mrs Murray had a bottle of whiskey in her hand when suddenly the table cloth was pulled off the table by an unseen hand and dashed down on he floor. The glasses and other things were smashed into fragments.
Another day when Mrs Murray & her daughter were about to make butter they had occasion to leave the kitchen and while outside were startled by some terrible noise in the house. When they returned to the kitchen they were horrified to find the cream in the pans streaked with blood.
