  1. Long ago the people made different kinds of bread to which the people now make. The kinds of bread they used were, wheaten bread, barley bread, oaten bread, finemeal bread, and stampy.
    They baked the bread in ovens as well as in griddles. They used no brand under the griddle but three big stones. The old people called the oven the "báchúr". The people ground all their corn at home. They ground it with a quern. They left a clean cloth or sheet on the ground and they left the
