  1. Mr Curran of Castlepole, Kells died in 1935 at the age of 105. His father was in the employment of Captain Molloy. According to Mr. Curran Captain Molloy was 6ft 4' in height, of dark complextion, with grey eyes, of slender build and very athletic. He died in 1802.
    After Catholic Emancipation the Castle was pulled down. (in 1836)
