This stone was the headstone or pillow of a coffin in the old cemetery at Breaffy. It has now been restored to Breaffy. The lettering (LOVFE CNAN) is the name of the deceased and means "The Little old Mariner - Prof. Mac Allister).E Page 49.

A fine, but comparatively modern structure probably erected about 1750.
