rain. If the clouds are rolling in the sky, or if they are very dark we shall have rain. A rainbow in the morning is a sign of a storm and a rainbow at night is a sign of rain. It is said that if the birds fly low, it is a sign of rain. If the cat scrapes wood it is a sign of a storm. If the dog refuses to eat his food and eats grass or if the cat sits with his back to the fire it is a sign of rain. We also notice that if the sky is mackeral, rain follows.
