   Once when priests and bishops were on the run and prices laid on their heads there was a bishop hiding in Doonfeeney. Now this bishop was hiding in a stack of turf and nobody knew about it only the owner of the stack. Johnie Lavelle was his name. Every day when no one would be looking he used to steal to the stack and bring food to the bishop.
