    man around Ballylongford is Robert Cox, from Lisloughtin. The best walker around Newtownsandes was Con Brosnan. The best singer around Lenamore is Margaret Hanrahan from Moher. There was a fair one time in Dingle, and Pat Shine from Newtownsandes wanted to buy cattle from this special fair, so what did he do but to send two men to buy cattle for him. So away they went to Dingle to buy cattle. They bought some cattle and lost one coming home. They walked from Tralee home, and they were not able to get up for about two days after. It was Little Christmas Day the fair was held in Dingle. The best mower around Tarbert was supposed to be Paddy Moran. He was cutting hay over in Tarmons, and he cut an acre of hay in an hour.
    There was a man who was very strong and he used to take drink. One night he fell into a cement trough. It freezed that night and the trough stuck to his back. He awoke and he went home. When he was going in the door he took the frame of the door with him. He went to take it off, as an overcoat and then he found that it was a cement trough. He was another day in his own garden and he saw that his plough was broken. He took the plough with one hand, and he put it on his shoulder and took it to the smith to mend it. He was another day
