    Says one of the girls "sit down by the fire"
    There was a fine girl I'll describe if I can
    She's cook slut and dairymaid to the big man.
    She is neat tall and handsome
    and fit to be seen
    She carries her mouth like the mouth of a machine.
    There are two more lines near the gentlemans place
    they are Maggie and Essie
    God mark them to grace
    A pity they warn't transported in time
    They would plough up tobacco land seven by nine.
    There are two more lassies between that the bull
    They don't give a damn
    When their bellies are full
    Winter is over and provisions
