    time. But in the meantime he got into trouble with another girl and her parents were urging him to marry her. He didn't want to marry her at all. One evening he went to the house and asked her would she like to go for a row in a boat with him and she said she would. They went out in the boat and when they were about a mile from the land he threw her overboard. She wasn't able to swim and of course she was drowned. He went home then and went to see the other girl in Ballymager and they agreed about getting married immediately. He went home and he got up early the next morning and went out to shoot. The first thing he saw was a big black cat and it looking very fierce
