    & they used to throw them up into there the same as a bag of oats & they had a horse at the pumps to trace up the load to the old sandpit at the church where they threw them & then they threw a ditch in on top of them & that was all the burying they got.
    Most of the bodies were Catholics - they all wore white flannel jackets "baneens" they used to call them - one weft of wool some of cotton; cotton in the reed & wool in the shuttle.
