One time there was a poor man named Sean & it came to the time for him to pay his rent & he had no way of making it so his landlord gave him a weeks notice & said that if he did not pay it again then he would put him out. He had only two stacks of corn to make the rent so he got two neighbours to tresh it with him & he brought 5 barrels of it with him to the fair. He met a man as he was going along the road who said he would buy the corn from him. "How much will you give me for it" says Seán. "£5" says the man "Come on to my house" so Sean went with him. That night the wife found Sean lying
