James Neill (40) Hacketstown told by his mother. Father was a noted story tellerA respectable gentleman came from Co. Wexford to Rashanmore with his £500 and was married to a Miss ?Smahore? in this big house and in a short time after the man was ploughing his field about him and he saw alittle small woman coming across for the style and the style was fenced up and this man thought what he should do what he could to prevent this woman from coming across so he seen her coming across the style and knocking down the fnece and he took his hands off the handles of the plough and when he went down the woman disappeared. There was no woman there so he had to unyoke his beasts and go home as he went to bed for some(continues on next page)
