“There was a boy living in Rathnagrew...”
There was a boy living in Rathnagrew with an old man named Whelan & one day the boy & his father went to cut sticks in a big grove & they cut all day & when they were coming home they had the child between them. The child disappeared when they were coming through a raheen & they could not find(continues on next page)- One day a man was mowing in the Mullawn and he saw a funeral going up the road & there was only a few carrying the coffin & he went over to help but he was not long carrying the coffin when he was put on his head in the ditch & when he got up there was no sign of anything.
