    Well in a short while afterwards Biddy's friends was doin' a bit o' match-makin for her, an' it happened to be a sthrange man too that they war thryin ta get for her. He was brought ta see Biddy, but on no account would she consent ta marry him, for she said that he was'tnt the man that she dhramed o'.
    Ther went makin' he match the second time too, an' it was wit a sthranger, but Biddy got off wit the same excuse that he washtnt the right man.
    Sometime aftherwards a coushin 'ohers came visitin' ta Biddy's an when she was goin home nothin id do her but that she'd go back along wit her, an' in the end Biddy consented ta go. there was no word about match-makin' at all at the time, for her freinds war beginnin ta get a bit tired o' Bidd'y capers, so they decided ta do it on the quiet.
    The mornin afther Biddy landed in her cousin's place, she was wakened be the fuss o' talkin in the kitchen, the girl who was shleepin' wit her tould her ta hace a peep inta the kitchen, an see who was there. Biddy hopped out o' bed, an pulled on her is quick is she could an' she opened the dure quietly an peeped inta the kitchen.
