(continued from previous page)an' he got ready his churn, an' started to work. He wasn't very long churning however, when the woman arrived, and she asked for a grain of salt. He told her that he hadn't got any, only what would do himself. She went away but it was not long until she returned again, if he could just spare a tiny pinch. "No nor devila pinch" he said. "Well for God's sake" said she, only gimme the smallesht little grain, for there ishtnt a thing in the house, but ishtnt flung at us".
The man hunted her home, an' when the churnin' was finished he never had a better return of butter in his life.(no title)
