3. Treasure

   There was supposed to be treasure buried up there at Nevilles near the house, and 'tisn't so long ago since a crowd of fellows went to dig for it. They dug a mighty big hole there, about six feet deep. There was some woman dreamt about it three times that the money was buried between two trees. The crowd of fellows came to dig for it. The first night they didn't dig very much for the night came wet; the next night they dug down about six feet, and they happened on some bones, so they got afraid then and they left it so. Last Summer a crowd of fellows they dug up two styles over there about Tinnycarrig looking for money I don't think they got any though. There is money supposed to be buried in the old castle of Terrath and the ould people used to say that the money could
