    from a wake and he got lost and he began to shout for help. Another man went to help him and he saw a light. It is said it was the light that put him astray. Long ago two men were drowned in the same place.
    According to traditon fairies [?] living in a fort about two miles from my home. They have a pot of gold hidden in or about the fort but the way by which people can get it is not known. No animals or lights were seen about the place and it is not known if anything is guarding the gold. There is a story of a boy wh died and was brought to the fort by the fairies. He was often seen coming out of the fort but if anyone went to catch him he
