    A fog is the sign of rough weather.

    If the seas are roaring, it is a sign of wet, rough, weather.
    Crickets.
    To hear crickets singing, is a sign of bad weather also.
    Midges.
    If midges are very plentiful in warm weather, it is a sign of bad weather.
    Colour of sky.
    If the sky is a red colour, it is a sign of good weather.
