    seventy years. The best known of her poems are "A Tired Heart", "The Wild Geese", and "The grave of Michael Dwyer."
    Mitchell O'Grady a native of Kilkelly and resided at Land League Cottage, Lisnolan, Manulla. He was head clerk of the Castlebar County Council. He composed a song named "Onward the Cause" to the air of O'Donell Abú with several others. His ancestors were priests and teachers. Antony Raftery lived in this neighbourhood in the 18th century. Cormac Dall lived in Claremorris. There is living in America at present a man named Raftery aged about sixty years. He composes poetry and writes prose. He was living where McGarry's shop now stands.
