- Toothache: To smoke a clay pipe-full of tobacco. For a swelling from a toothache in the face they would pull some chicken-weed and apply to face as a poultice.
Sore mouth: If a boy had a sore mouth or throat a girl that would be born after her fathers death would have the cure by breathing on him.
Headache: They would use a charm. That is a form of words said by an old man or woman in the locality.
Evils and Boils: A Seventh Son had a cure for evils and boils.
Measels: They would ask a cure of a man with a white horse or else give them donkeys milk to drink.
Sore Feet or Burns: They would boil laurel leaves and apply to the feet.
Sore Eyes: Vinegar and hot water mixed and rub on the eyes(continues on next page)- Informant
