    One of the travellers of long ago was Tom Mangan (better known as Blackmud) who used to go about from house to house playing a fiddle and gathering money.
    He used to get lodging's in houses after his journey. Then the boys and girls of the neighbourhood would gather in and have great fun out of him - for he was very cranky.
    They said he died last year ago in "Carnacon" People say he was married to "Mary Harlow" and he killed her
