    The plentyful fish at that time was salmon as there were a lot of more salmon in our lakes and rivers than there are at the present day. They had a special time for eating fish. This was Lent.
    The people eat a lot of eggs on Easter Sunday at that time. They had a big goose for dinner and white bread for all their meals.
    Their foods were very healthy.
