    when going to the town and on returning home they would take off their shoes at the same place. While she was putting on her shoes a boy came along and took away the basket of eggs and ran. He was captured and brought before the court. They did not know whether the boy had taken away any eggs or not. They asked the woman how many eggs were in the basket. She did not know as she was unable to count. All she could say was: When she counted them into the basked in two's, three's, four's, five's and sixes she always had one over, but when she put them in, in sevens she was one short".
