    There is a man in our village named Pat Byrne and he is a weaver.

    (continued from previous page)
    grandfather was a weaver. But his great grandfather was not a weaver he was an iron maker or a smith and he came from Wicklow.
    He went selling kettles and pans, about the country until seemingly he came to Johnstown and he bought a house and he lived there ever.
    Then he got married and after some years his son learned to weave. Then the weaving came down from generation to generation.
