“There was once a cave in Doyle's field.”
There was once a cave in Dayle's field.
When they were ploughing it they ploughed over this cave and it was all covered over with flags.
They found an opening and they went in and they found a lot of guns and spears and weapons and they sent them to Dublin. This happened about 40 years ago. Told by Patrick Byrne, Johsntown, Ballyhaunis.- Collector
