  1. I There was an orchard that was attached to an old gentlemans residence. The orchard was surrounded by a wall nine feet high to guard the fruit from thieves.
    One night boys from a near-by village went to steal apples and as they were about to climb the wall they heard the sounding of footsteps on the top of the wall but could not see anything.
