    take place now, great feasting is held. All sorts of intoxicating drink are at the wedding. The men drink porter and the women drink wine or whiskey. Sometimes sweet cakes, and tea is given.
    In olden times potatoes and cabbage that was given and it was a lucky person that got potatoes and herrings.
    Sometimes strawboys come and ask stout. If they don't get it, they would do great harm.
