  2. There was a man in our village named Michael Duffy who was a basket-maker. He made baskets every week and then on a Friday went to the market and sold them. He made baskets for turf with rods and left the rods in a corner of the house until they seasoned for hoops. Then he got other rods and put them in the basket. He was supposed to be the best basket-maker in the village. He lives in Clooncara Kilmovee Ballaghaderreen.
