- About a century ago when the weddings were celebrated the young married couple when they returned from church they would have a merry time singing and dancing. At about twelve o'clock at night the feast would be celebrated and some young boys would come dressed up in fancy clothes. They would ask to see the young couple and they would wish them their joy. Then they would ask for some liquor and if they got it they would sing and dance all through the night but nobody would know them because they had covers on their faces.
