    1 It is not right to let anything out of the house May day.
    2 If you go into the house when they are churning it is not right to give anything out while it is being made.
    3 It is not right right to throw out water on New Years Day or to throw out ashes.
    4 It is not right without to leave your hand on the churn dash if anyone is churning when you go into a house.
    5 It is not right to leave the tongs flat on the ground.
    6 No wheel should be turned on St Martin's Day.
    7 No nail should be struck on Good Friday.
    8 Some of the old people put a coal under the churns.
