    make a hole in it. Then leave it on a coal beside the fire and put sugar into it. Then drink the juice of it and it will cure the chincough.
    There is a cure in comfrey for sores and cuts. Pare it and make it like ointment and put it on the cut and it will heal it.
    There is a cure in nettles for skin disease. Boil them and put a little sugar in them and then drink the soup and it will cure all sorts of skin diseases.
    The cure for worms is to get a twine and make two knots so that when you pull the ends the twine it will come out without any knots.
    The dandelion is a cure for a pain in the head when it is boiled in milk and then drink the juice of it in the milk.
    The seventh son in a family has a cure in his right hand for ring-worm.
    A child that never saw its father has the cure for sore mouth.
    The cure for a head-ache is to get a piece of camomile and leave it up to dry for a few days. When it is ready put it into a cup and pour hot water out on it and then drink it.
