Flummery was of a purple colour, it had a sour taste, it was like jelly, it was made from meal.Whooping Cough:
One of the cures the old people had ws to go to some one who had a ferret and to give a plate of milk to the ferret. When he had some of the milk drunk, the plate was taken from him, and the milk he left was given to the child, who had the whooping cough. This cured the child.Skin Complain:
