    in Ireland his home was visited one day by Cromwellian soldiers. The women had dinner prepared for the workers in the brewery. When the soldiers arrived they left their guns standing against the gable of the house and went in and were eating the dinner prepared when the workers arrived. The women warned them, and the workers took the guns of the soldiers and shot six of them dead. Afterwards the house was raided and destroyed by more of the invading army
