- (continued from previous page)An old bog deal chest which stood in a corner was slit and broken by the swords of the soldiers. This chest was preserved in the Corley family until some years ago when it fell to pieces, and now the boards are treasured by the occupant. He also says that strange lights and sounds have been seen and heard by him in a field near his home. It is thought the spirit of the dead soldiers haunt the place.
