- There once lived in Clooninchin, Meelick, two brothers by the name of Kenny.
When they grew up, one of them went to America and the other to Australia.
One night the man who was in America dreamt there was a treasure hidden under a bush near a fort, which is now owned by Tom Mulligan, Clooninchin.
In the dream he was directed to dig for the treasure while Mass was being said in Sunday.
He then wrote to his brother in Australia and told him about the dream and when he dreamt it.
The brother wrote back and told him he had the very same dream on the same night.
They decided to come home and try their luck in finding the treasure. They came, and kept the secret concerning the treasure very quiet.
One Sunday when the people were gone to Mass, the brothers got ready and commenced to dig.(continues on next page)- Collector
