- Long ago when the people used to go to wakes. Three or four of the neighbors used to go together and it was an old trick to do when they used to see the light of the house in which the wake was. They would change shoes with each other and caps. When they would be going home they would give the shoes and caps back to each other. And they would always say that; that trick was right.
