    Fearabán
    A weed which grows and spreads quickly in potato and other crops. It bears a flower resembling the buttercup.
    Prataí Dearga.
    A large weed with a long spike of reddish flowers. It take much substance from the soil. It has a big strong root resembling that of a briar.
    Chicken-Weed.
    A weed which smothers potatoes. A soft green weed of the creeper family. It creeps and spreads over ridges. It is easily got rid of or pulled
