- It is said that if a person had the mumps, and to go into the pigs-sty and to tell the pigs to take the mumps that he would be cured. It is also said that if a person had warts and to dip them in water which he would find in a hole in a stone that the warts would go in a short time. The people say that if a person had a toothache and to put a frog to his jaw that he would be cured. It is also said that if a person had the chin-cough and to get the food that the ferret turns away from without tasting that he would be cured.
