    boys gather together in a house.
    One of the boys will get a belt, and gives 'Cock in the Corner" as a name to one of the other boys. Then he gives a name of some sum of money to each of the other boys, such as two - pence, four - pence, six - pence and so on. Then he starts at "Cock in the Corner" and says "Cock in the Corner", and the boy says "Cock in the Corner" and the boys says "Cock in the Corner" after him. Then the boy with the belt says "Cock in the Corner" again and the other boy says "Sir. Then the boy with the belt says how do you sell your oats". and "Cock in the Corner" names some sum of money. Then the boy with the belt goes on to the boy he (man) names and plays the same way with him as the first.
