    year and lime sometimes. The manure is taken from the dung heap and scattered on the land with a grape. Some of the slits are put in drills and more of them are put in ridges. There are no wooden ploughs in the place now. The farmers buy their ploughs. Most of the neighbours help each other.
    The people spray the potatoes twice or three times. The clay is put with a shovel on the drills or on ridges. The potatoes are dug with a spade and then they are picked and put into a pit. The big potatoes into a pit for them selves and the póitíní are put into another one. The people leave them in the pits for a while.
