- The rushes, the thistles, and the flaggers are the most harmful weeds. These weeds are harmful because they improverish the soil. Where the thistle grows is supposed to be very good land and where rushes and flaggers grow is suppose to be bad land.
Water-cress is used for heart failure. It is eaten now by the person that is suffering from the disease.
Horse radish is used for food for the people. Heather was used for dyeing purposes during the olden times. Sufferers were very much relived when these cures were applied to the sores of the suffering.(continues on next page)- Collector
