    It is not right to put out money on New Year's day because you would not have any money to put out for the rest of the year. People milk their cows in the evening on New Year's Day.
    Christmas Day
    Some male thing should get up first on Christmas Day.
    St. Johns Night
    A fire is lit on that night and a coal is thrown into the crops. A bone is burned in the fire. The fire is allowed to burn out.
