  2. In Pat Loughney's field there is a well called Tobar Pad'Raich. This is situated near the old road which led to Crossmolina - west of Killala. Stations are still performed at this well and recently a man is said to have recovered his sight. Its waters have curative powers for defective eye sight. other people say that the well should be called Tobar Chrainn. The usual offerings of rags and ribbons to be seen at many holy wells, may be seen there on the tree's nearby.
