    I have heard this from my mumsy who lives at Belleek Faranoo Ballina Co. Mayo. I also heard from her that after a hen lays an egg she cackles and this is what she says: eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, ubh ógs: ubh ógs mean young eggs or soft eggs.
