I have the bargain under your hand" he said. "In the name of Jesus go away from me." said the widow, and when he heard that name he went. The the widow went to the priest and told him everything. "I am afraid" said he. "That you are lost. But I will write to the Bishop about you. Go home now and start doing penance. I will send you an (an) message when I get answer from the Bishop." When she came home she found her children eating the food which Granie O had left them. But the eldest told her not to touch the food - that was what the lady told them. But when she would be in want of food they would give it to her. At the end of the week the priest sent for her and said that got an answer from the Bishop to say that he would not be able to have a hand in it until he got an order from the [?] Pope.
