    There is a fine plantation at the police station.
    A splendid school-house outside the gate
    It is ornamented with crimson flowers
    Its beauty is more than I can relate
    The inspector came to view this building
    And when he saw it he should give in
    He said there was no residence through out the nation
    Could equal the school-house in Coolnabin

    He said those who built it should be promoted,
    Im sure its equal was never known,
    It was erected by Anthony Sheridan
    And Father O'Hara left down the foundation stone
    So its my intention when I get the old age pension,
    To give more praises of this lovely glen,
