  1. There are many cures for certain ailments, besides doctors cures. I am about to mention a few of them;
    Whooping Cough: If you see a man riding on a white horse, ask him for a cure, and whatever he tells you to take for it, it is supposed to cure it.
    If you drink asses milk, or ferrets leavings it is supposed to be another cure also.
    A Cold: If you drink buttermilk and sugar. It is supposed to cure you.
    Toothache: Put a frog into your mouth and keep him here until he squeaks three times.
    Put a cup of water in your mouth.
    Put your night shoe and stocking on your feet.
